Air Craftsmen, Inc. designs, builds and installs complete pneumatic waste handling systems for both wood and paper markets. Installations are custom engineered and installed to always be square, straight and plumb. The objective is a “long lasting” system that works good and looks good.
Since 1981, Air Craftsmen, Inc. has installed over 1700 air filtration systems. Our experience spans 27 states and 6 foreign countries.

About Us
Air Craftsmen, Inc. was started by Ken Hodges in July of 1981. Ken had worked for several prominent filter and duct providers for more than twenty years. He decided to start Air Craftsmen, Inc. in the spare bedroom of his home in Winston-Salem, NC.
In 1984 Ken purchased a full manufacturing facility in Lexington, NC to best serve both the paper and wood industry in the area. This included furniture manufacturers to label makers. By the 1990's the company had grown to 26 employees.
In 2004 Ken and several key employees designed and created the TRM filter. This filter was ideal with a small footprint, under unit bag collection, and easy maintenance. 300 TRM filters have been installed to date.
In 2018 Air Craftsmen, Inc. was acquired by Bruning & Federle Manufacturing located in Statesville, NC. The headquarters, machinery, and spare part inventory has since moved to Statesville as well. Ken Hodges has remained with the company, bringing his 60+ years of experience with him.
Air Craftsmen, Inc., in partnership with Moldow, BaleMaster, BloAPCo, and along with in-house manufactured items, provides solutions for its customers. We offer a full line of spare parts and provide maintenance as required.
